During an uneventful month of June, a new student transfers to a village school and discovers a disturbing green figure in the mirror on the day of the closing ceremony. Fleeing in fear, she finds a summer camp invitation for a place called "Summer's Castle," which she feels compelled to attend.

She joins a group of five girls in an old castle, wondering why they were all invited. As they spend their days there, a strange and mysterious summer unfolds, leaving them with more questions than answers.
