The story follows a young man who once dreamed of a prosperous and peaceful country but was disillusioned by the invasion and war that ravaged his homeland. Despite feeling disillusioned, he resolves to start anew and work his way up from the bottom to help rebuild his country. After leaving his job at a coal mine, he becomes a lighthouse keeper, choosing a new path for himself.
