This is a book about the lives of a mother, Bok-hee, and her daughter, Seul-ah. Bok-hee runs a second-hand clothing store and raises her daughter with love and open-mindedness.

Seul-ah enters university and works part-time jobs to pay for her expenses. She eventually becomes a nude model for high income but hesitates to tell her mother. Bok-hee surprises Seul-ah with a gift to support her new job.
